We were called 'cockroaches' for leaving at 5pm on a Friday, the mentality here is that you owe the company everything and should worship management for giving you a job, very old school company. All of these horrible people still work here, but every good coworker left. This place traps losers and makes anyone competent run for the hills, incompetence seems to increase with tenure. The CEO is a bizarre spoiled rich kid, I have worked with people far richer and smarter than him who showed employees much more respect. When he goes on land tours it's like the King of England is in town, he is very demanding and treats employees like his wait staff. He won't stay at the same hotel or even eat with high level division executives, super weird.
They assured us we were a high priority for them. They we signed on the sale of our home, KHAM contacted us, at 730PM in the evening, alerting us to an issue with our documentation and informed us we would not be able to qualify for the loan. 20 Days from our scheduled closing on the new KHOV home. We sold our home based on assurances made by them of our approval. After the fifth day we reached out to another lender was able to issue us an approval, based on all the same documentation we had supplies KHAM . Finally, in an effort to retain our business the offered to buy down our interest rate for us if we would stay.

One of our vent pipes on our roof was installed incorrectly without a collar which led to water draining down the pipe and rotting our roof decking. Hovnanian sent out a roofer to look at the issue and damage. They came up with every excuse to avoid the claim and ended up blaming the nails that held the vent on and said it's home owner maintenance when clearly it was installed incorrectly. I hired my own roofer to come out and he said it was clear the damage was caused by the missing collar. Both roofers did agree on one thing and that's the fact that it was installed incorrectly. We were shorted insulation in the attic, found shoddy workmanship in the installation of our floors, and we've found the windows to be of poor quality. Our gas fireplace was not insulated, yet when approached, we were told that it met code. "Code" means we make no effort to actually do the right thing. We were also told that these are energy efficient homes. We've found that our HVAC system design is "old" - with suspended attic ducts in an unconditioned environment, un-insulated duct boots that cause extremely uncomfortable conditions in the winter.

(With the option for fsa/hsa) Personally I’d rather spend more on my premiums to have the ability to have a legit copay vs meet deductible then you get covered. The excellent and quick service from everyone, but especially from Jeremy the project manager was to another level I really appreciate the way he took care of us, thanks again.

Every time I speak to someone about my home, no one seems to know what is actually going on. In the pre-dry wall walk through, large items such as the kitchen island being the incorrect size was wrong, which the project manager didn't even realize, I had to point it out to HIM. They are disorganized, unprofessional, and they are taking advantage of having the upper hand assuming we are boxed in with our earnest deposit. We finally told them we would use our own excavator and pay out of pocket. Basically any warranty you have with them is completely useless and they limit their liability in their contract by forcing you to go to arbitration and not a regular court hearing.

The place is kept up if have an issue, quiet and do not really hear my neighnors through the wall. Maintenance man is awesome and knows his stuff. Very satisfied - they were nice caregivers and well trained.
I live in a single bedroom and it is a beautiful space. The balcony is nice, the property is well kept, and response to maintenance issues has been prompt. Any issues that have come up for me, I have brought to the office and they have been resolved quickly. I moved into Indian Hill Apartments May 2016. I can’t even begin to think about living somewhere else.
Give more details to improve the helpfulness of your review. I have had respite helpers on a regular basis for my husband who has Parkinson's and can't be left alone for very long. Each of the companions has been helpful, courteous, and resourceful.
My number was the only one listed on the contract and in the entire year we were working with them, they had only ever spoken to me as mu husband is unable to take phone calls at work. It's 2022 and gender discrimination is alive and well at K. They will get you so far into the process and then put you off until they can raise the price and you have no choice but pay or all the time you have spent is lost and you are without a home.
The staff has been very helpfull and even corrected a problem that I caused. Time was you could trust a person's word. His constant communication and forward thinking was a tremendous asset for us especially since we did not live in the area. Spend more time asking questions during the initial purchase time.
